Remote Senior Full-Stack Developer (Node.js/JavaScript)

Description:

• The company is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to work remotely on a project involving the development of a new contact center solution for a global enterprise.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using JavaScript and Node.js.
• The project involves creating enhancements and new features for the existing voice platform within a VDI environment.
• The developer will work on developing voice over IP solutions using SIP and WebRTC, maintaining technical documentation, diagnosing and resolving complex VOIP issues, and collaborating with the team.
• Qualifications include 5+ years of industry experience, hands-on experience with JavaScript and Node.js, understanding of VOIP protocols, troubleshooting skills, Agile/Scrum experience, and a positive attitude.
• Nice to have skills include experience with virtual environments, C++/C, and knowledge of Contact Centre and telecommunications service providers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of industry experience in software development and troubleshooting VOIP systems.
• Hands-on experience writing backend code in JavaScript and Node.js.
• Good understanding of VOIP protocols like SIP, RTP, RTCP, WebRTC, and ROAP.
• Experience in troubleshooting tools, audio media analysis, and good debugging skills.
• Experience working on complex problems and systems.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum team.
• Positive attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent/above) in a relevant discipline.
