Remote Senior Full- stack Developer (Olympus)

Description:

• The Senior Full-stack Developer will be responsible for creating scalable microservices to support the company's growth.
• They will develop high-quality, performant, and scalable web components using the Fast Framework.
• Collaboration with the design team to transform wireframes, mockups, and visual designs into interactive and responsive web components is essential.
• Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, usability issues, and cross-browser compatibility challenges to deliver polished web components.
• Developing and executing effective testing strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and sharing knowledge with the team to improve development processes.
• Participating in code reviews, providing feedback, and maintaining a high standard of code quality.
• Contributing to the documentation of components, design patterns, and the design system for knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• Excellent software engineering skills in Java or Kotlin for backend services.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related frontend technologies.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with frontend frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
• Experience with multi-threaded, 3-tier architectures, web services, and caching.
• Familiarity with event-driven pipelines and Object-Oriented Design.
• Willingness to learn and use different technologies/programming languages.
• Experience working with public cloud, AWS experience would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Practical experience deploying code in a modern programming environment using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
