As a Senior Full-stack Django Developer on our Product Team, you will lead our frontend modernization efforts while maintaining backend excellence and shipping product features.
You will report to the VP of Engineering and work closely with the Product Team Lead to shape the future of our platform.
Your impact will include driving our lightweight JavaScript (Alpine) to React migration and architecting scalable Django solutions.
You will work on significant product features that directly affect the security of the open-source ecosystem.

Requirements:

You must have strong multi-year experience in full-stack development, with a focus on Python/Django.
A proven track record of React project delivery is required.
You should possess deep knowledge of Django (models, views, DRF) and web fundamentals.
Experience with PostgreSQL and Django ORM is necessary.
You must have the ability to lead projects and translate requirements into tangible outcomes.
Strong communication skills and experience working in remote teams are essential.
An enthusiasm for cybersecurity and open-source software is expected.
Bonus points for experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with Flask or FastAPI, a track record of frontend framework migrations, and contributions to open-source projects.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from 145,000 CAD to 174,000 CAD, depending on experience.
