Description:

  • LanguageWire is a global leader in language and content services, helping brands achieve their global potential since 2000.
  • As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services for mission-critical features.
  • You will work across the stack to deliver robust, high-quality software, shaping user experiences on the front end and optimizing service performance on the back end.
  • You will be part of the Products & APIs Team, responsible for building and maintaining LanguageWire Translate and its ecosystem of services.
  • Your role includes designing user-centric features, building full-stack applications, and creating secure APIs for internal and external consumers.
  • You will mentor other developers, drive improvements in code quality, and embrace DevOps principles for reliable service delivery.
  • You will take ownership of the solutions you develop and support tech leads in customer-facing discussions.
  • You will ensure observability through structured logging, metrics, and monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Strong frontend development skills, particularly in Vue.js and TypeScript, are required.
  • Proficiency in backend development using Python and FastAPI is necessary.
  • A solid understanding of scalable API design, REST principles, and microservices is essential.
  • You should possess a motivational, proactive mindset with a collaborative attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities are required.
  • A solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean coding principles is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MSSQL or PostgreSQL is required.
  • Proficiency with DevOps tooling, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Helm, Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud services (preferably Azure) is necessary.
  • Familiarity with agile environments and experience in sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews is required.
  • A mindset of continuous improvement for yourself and the systems you build is essential.
