Remote Senior Full Stack Engineer

Description:

• The position is for a Senior Full Stack Engineer, which is a full-time remote role available in various locations across the United States.
• The engineer will help build features, design and implement API methods, and improve the performance and reliability of systems.
• The platform serves over twenty trillion feature flags daily.
• Core technologies used include Golang, Redis, and NATS.
• Developers are responsible for supporting applications in production, including optional on-call duties that are compensated.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be Full Stack engineers with a focus on Backend development for at least 40-50% of their work.
• Demonstrable experience with server-side web development in languages such as Java, Scala, Ruby, Python, or Golang is required.
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling, particularly React, is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience building RESTful APIs and maintaining large-scale production systems.
• Familiarity with computer science fundamentals, including data structures, distributed systems, concurrency, and threading, is essential.
• A commitment to a communicative and collaborative work environment is expected.
• Candidates must write code that is easily understood by others, focusing on maintainability.
• High code quality, automated testing, and adherence to engineering best practices are valued.
• Familiarity with networking technologies such as TCP, HTTP, websockets, and server-sent events is required.
