Description:

Cabana is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their growing engineering team.
The role involves building and maintaining scalable, high-performance mobile and web applications using React Native and Java.
Responsibilities include designing and managing relational databases with MySQL and integrating third-party APIs and services, such as Twilio.
The engineer will deploy and manage services on Microsoft Azure and collaborate with cross-functional teams in product planning, user experience design, and feature rollout.
The position requires writing clean, maintainable, and testable code with a strong emphasis on performance and user experience.
Participation in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives is expected.
The engineer will also provide tech support to Cabana's members.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of full-stack development experience.
Strong proficiency in React Native for mobile development is required.
Back-end experience with Java, particularly in enterprise-grade environments, is necessary.
Experience working with MySQL databases and writing performant queries is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable with Azure for cloud deployment and infrastructure management.
A passion for delivering high-quality, user-centric digital experiences is a must.
Strong communication skills, self-starter attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity are required.
Nice-to-haves include experience with Expo for iOS and Android deployment, familiarity with Spring Boot, knowledge of Twilio or similar communication APIs, and an interest in mental health or experience in Healthtech or regulated industries.
Experience working in a start-up environment is also a plus.
