Description:

The company is a pre-launch entity backed by Atomic VC, focused on building a tech-enabled platform to support seniors navigating specialty care.
The Senior Full Stack Engineer will be a foundational member of the engineering team, reporting to the Engineering Lead.
Responsibilities include developing a deep understanding of the company's vision and business model, working with pilot partners, clinicians, and patients to build technical solutions, and defining the technical strategy.
The engineer will own the architecture across the stack, lead the development and launch of the minimum viable product (MVP), and establish a data engineering strategy.
The role involves making foundational improvements to infrastructure and identifying practical applications for AI advancements.
The tech stack includes Rust, Python, TypeScript, React, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of professional software development experience.
Expertise in backend development, system design, and distributed systems is required.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and either Rust or Python is necessary.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi is a plus) is needed.
A deep understanding of databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and data modeling is essential.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills are required.
A mentorship mindset is important, as the candidate should enjoy helping other engineers grow.
Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 per year, plus early-stage equity.
