Remote Senior Full Stack Engineer

• We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with solid PHP experience for an initial 12-month contract, with compensation up to €5,000 per month depending on experience.
• The team is partly based in London (UK) and partly international, predominantly working UK hours, and we are open to remote candidates.
• There is potential for offering an extension or a permanent position at the end of the contract.
• Key responsibilities include driving development, improving and maintaining our software solution, scoping work, setting up appropriate processes around implementation and delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery, and offering alternative solutions where feasible.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of experience working as a software engineer.
• At least 3 years of experience working with PHP and Laravel is required.
• Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience working on the front end, ideally with React.JS, but other frameworks are acceptable.
• Experience in picking up an existing codebase is necessary.
• Candidates must have experience with querying and setting up SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs is required.
• Some experience with cloud computing, specifically in AWS, is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience working with an agile framework.
• Great organizational and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail, are essential.
