Description:

• The Senior Full Stack Engineer position at Surefire Cyber is a full-time role that involves designing, developing, and deploying the company's advanced tech stack and SURF[IR] platform.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with the CTO and fellow engineers to drive innovation, develop scalable solutions, integrate 3rd party products, and lead engineering projects.
• The role also entails staying updated on technology trends, mentoring team members, designing user interfaces, developing server-side components and APIs, optimizing application performance, and utilizing various programming languages and database systems.
• The Senior Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for project/sprint management, tracking advancements, ensuring timely delivery, and supervising sprint progression.
• Requirements for the position include a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, experience in cybersecurity engineering, proficiency in programming languages, knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and cloud environments, project management skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, related field of study or equivalent and practical work experience in cybersecurity engineering, development, or hands-on experience as a cyber operator.
• Former professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, DevOps Engineer, or Senior Engineer with a focus on cybersecurity and software engineering.
• Proficiency in multiple programming and scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Go, C#, or other applicable or similar languages.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing security-focused tools and services.
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud-based computing platforms and security engineering for cloud environments.
• Strong project management skills with a proven ability to take ownership of the development roadmap and drive project success.
• Experience in leading and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on project milestones.
• Proven ability to maintain accountability for project timelines and deliverables.
• Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
