Description:

  • Roofr is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their team remotely in Canada.
  • The company is focused on creating a trusted roofing platform to empower customers with intelligence.
  • Roofr offers an all-in-one sales toolbox for roofers, including customizable aerial roof measurements using drones, satellite, or blueprints imagery.
  • The platform allows clients to generate visually stunning, automated proposals to enhance the client experience and increase close rates.
  • Future plans include developing products like payment processing, consumer financing, and workflow automation.
  • The mission of Roofr is to provide every family with access to affordable roof protection.
  • The role involves collaborating with a lead product manager, product designer, and other team members to work on engineering projects that impact customer acquisition, monetization, and retention.
  • Responsibilities include prototyping new features, writing UI components using React, setting up A/B tests, and contributing to a small, agile growth team.
  • The ideal candidate should have experience in scalable, multi-tenant environments, JavaScript, React + Redux framework, and working cross-functionally with marketing teams.
  • Bonus points for direct experience on a growth team, PHP and Laravel framework experience, design skills, and familiarity with SCSS, RESTful APIs, and A/B test tools.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Senior Engineering role.
  • 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer.
  • 2+ years of experience in scalable, multi-tenant environments with rich front-end experiences.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript language and React + Redux framework.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a collaborative team environment.
  • Motivation to enhance the product and drive business metrics.
  • Experience in building for experimentation, iteration, and driving metrics.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work on complex problems.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and scoping solutions with teammates.
  • Track record of breaking down complex problems into quick experiments.
  • Understanding of early-stage company priorities and trade-offs.
