Remote Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Full-Stack Engineer will be responsible for building customer-facing UI components and SaaS Restful APIs using cutting-edge technologies.
• This role is 100% hands-on, involving the design, build, and testing of the SaaS platform using React, Node.js, or Rust with PostgreSQL.
• The engineer will work as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods.
• Collaboration with architects to design client-side and server-side architecture is essential.
• The role includes building front-end applications and backend services for climate tech solutions for enterprises.
• The engineer will build reusable code and libraries for future use and develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
• Identifying and fixing defects before they become a problem using tools and ingenuity is a key responsibility.
• The engineer should demonstrate a passion for implementing maximum speed, highly scalable, and maintainable front-end services.
• Sharing technical solutions and product ideas through design reviews, pair programming, code reviews, and technical discussions is expected.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 4-7 years of previous working experience as a Full-stack Developer building SaaS products from the ground up.
• A proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3, is required.
• Deep competence in the PERN stack with TypeScript is necessary.
• Working experience in Rust is essential.
• Excellent knowledge of back-end languages and frameworks, including Node.js and Python, is required.
• Strong experience with the TypeScript or JavaScript ecosystem is necessary.
• Candidates should have working experience in REST API design and open API specifications.
• An understanding of testing principles, from unit tests to end-to-end testing, is required.
• Experience using SQL databases and ideally ORM solutions is necessary.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes, including Terraform and CI/CD practices, is required.
• Ideally, candidates should have experience with Azure, PostgreSQL database, and Auth0.
• A good product and design sense, with experience working with designers and product owners, is necessary.
• Experience working in lean teams and developing as they go is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in communicating technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders, are required.
