Description:
- Join parcelLab as a Senior Full Stack Engineer to work on systems powering pre-checkout, delivery, and returns experiences for 550+ global brands.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering Leadership to develop and maintain the product portfolio serving millions of users daily.
- Design and optimize scalable backend applications using Python, Django, REST/GraphQL APIs, job queues, and databases.
- Develop user-centric frontend applications with ReactJS, TailwindCSS, TypeScript, and automated testing frameworks.
- Follow modern development processes like CI/CD, code quality checks, test automation, and infrastructure as code.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior team members, and ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance product offerings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in software development, focusing on product engineering and scalable systems.
- Proficiency in Python, Django or FastAPI, and modern frontend frameworks like ReactJS, TailwindCSS, TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs, SQL, MongoDB, AWS, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a product-focused mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus.
