Description:

parcelLab is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their Engineering team.
The role involves building and enhancing systems that power pre-checkout, delivery, and returns experiences for over 550 brands worldwide.
Candidates should have experience in Python, Django, and modern frontend technologies like React.
The position offers flexibility to work from the Munich office or remotely within Germany or Europe.
Responsibilities include collaborating with Product Engineering Leadership and Product Owners, designing and developing scalable backend applications, implementing user-centric frontend applications, and contributing to code reviews.
The engineer will also participate in cross-functional team meetings and stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have at least 4 years of professional experience in software development, focusing on product engineering and scalable systems.
Proficiency in Python, Django or FastAPI, or comparable stacks is necessary.
Strong knowledge of modern frontend frameworks and tools, including ReactJS, TailwindCSS, and TypeScript, is required.
Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, SQL, MongoDB, AWS, Terraform, and GitHub Actions is essential.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team with a product-focused mindset is important.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills are required.
Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in German is a plus.
