Remote Senior Full Stack Engineer

Description:

• Plume Health, a trans-founded company, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their team and contribute to increasing access to healthcare for the transgender community.
• The role involves developing, improving, and maintaining the online healthcare platform, working closely with stakeholders to implement requirements, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, enhancing features on both backend and frontend using technologies like NodeJS, TypeScript, React, AWS Lambda, and Postgres.
• The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of software engineering experience, proficiency in TypeScript, NodeJS, AWS, and serverless architecture, as well as knowledge of GraphQL, REST API design, and healthcare-related software development.
• Empathy for the transgender experience and a willingness to learn new skill sets are essential for this role.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience with TypeScript.
• 2+ years of experience with NodeJS.
• Proficiency in AWS, Lambda, Postgres, and serverless architecture.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, REST API design, and HIPAA compliance.
• Strong technical communication skills and empathy for the transgender experience.
• Experience working directly with stakeholders and a willingness to take on new challenges.
