Description:

The Deep View, a newsletter-first media brand focusing on artificial intelligence, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join their team.
The role involves building and managing websites using NextJS, Strapi, and Node.js, working with structured and unstructured data, and first-party data.
Responsibilities include developing products quickly, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, ensuring technical proficiency for SEO, and implementing data analytics tools.
The engineer will troubleshoot and resolve issues, stay updated with emerging technologies, and take full responsibility for the engineering function as the first in-house hire.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer with a focus on web development.
Proficiency in NextJS and experience with CMS platforms like Sanity or Strapi.
Knowledge of front-end technologies (React, Angular/Vue) and back-end technologies (Node, Express).
Familiarity with database management systems (Postgres, Mongo) and SEO principles.
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and attention to detail.
