The Senior Backend Engineer will work on implementing new architectures, features, and best practices to scale the Cloudbeds platform.
They will contribute to service-oriented architectures using the latest technologies like PHP, NodeJS, React.js, and Typescript.
The role involves delivering exceptional customer experiences worldwide with a focus on quality, performance, and scalability.
Responsibilities include writing clean, well-tested, and well-documented code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring team members.
The engineer will also contribute to migrating the core platform into microservices and designing new component architectures.
Promoting best practices, driving technical decisions, and advocating for quality and test automation are key aspects of the role.

5+ years of experience in modern PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
5+ years of web application development experience, preferably in React.
Proficiency in designing and working with REST APIs, Typescript, NodeJS, HTML, and CSS.
Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, indexing, searching technologies, and software best practices.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, teamwork, leadership, and time management skills.
Business-level English fluency (verbal and written skills) is required.
