The mission is to safeguard the world’s pixels, and they are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to contribute to this goal.
The role involves working on the Chromatic product's human interfaces and platform APIs, taking features from ideation to production.
The engineer will be part of a team responsible for customer-facing workflows using Next.JS, GraphQL, TypeScript, and MongoDB.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating delightful customer experiences and building robust system architecture.
The position requires expertise in both front-end and back-end development, with a specialization in one area.
The engineer will be expected to tackle complex problems and devise simple, high-quality solutions.
This is a fully remote position for individuals based in the mainland US or Canada.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of real-world experience building full-stack web applications for production, with bonus points for experience using Next.JS.
Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.JS is required, and experience with other languages and frameworks like NestJS is a plus.
Experience with database technologies such as Postgres, MongoDB, and Redis is necessary, with bonus points for knowledge of sharding and replication strategies.
Excellent technical communication skills and a strong enthusiasm for documentation are essential.
Candidates should be enthusiastic about testing and have experience with test-driven development.
A passion for designing simple solutions to complex problems is required.
Candidates should possess a good intuition for scalable and sustainable solutions.
Bonus: Experience with Visual Regression Testing and developing components in isolation (e.g., using Storybook) is preferred.
