Description:

Calendly is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their Engineering team, focusing on providing developers with powerful APIs and integration points within the Calendly ecosystem.
The role involves supporting features and architecture, impacting all aspects of development from design to maintenance.
Responsibilities include writing well-tested software, building new features end-to-end, and guiding the transition from a monolithic architecture to a service-oriented architecture.
The engineer will work with various technologies including Ruby on Rails, Go, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform.
Daily tasks include advocating for strong technical architecture, delivering features from discovery to iteration, reviewing tech specs and pull requests, improving engineering systems, and mentoring team members.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of Software Development experience at a SaaS or technology company.
Experience in building REST APIs is required, with bonus points for experience with public APIs and engaging with the developer community.
A strong background in Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and microservices is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems are essential.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to drive innovation and propose solutions that align with organizational goals.

A commitment to writing clean, reliable, and maintainable code is expected.
