Remote Senior Full Stack Engineer - Development & Automation

Description:

• The Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and deploying a data-driven full-stack product that leverages Willow’s existing software infrastructure.
• Responsibilities include system architecture design, hands-on coding at all stack levels, performance testing, systems integration, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
• The role involves working across the full stack to build scalable distributed solutions, prototype MVPs and POC software/technology integrations, and deploy products on multiple large-scale projects internationally.
• The engineer will be self-supporting in researching, developing, and deploying the product, integrating with internal and external stakeholders, and developing workflows, tools, and methods to enable, accelerate, and automate data processing pipelines.
• Individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables need to be managed, and contributions to team-wide best practices are expected to reduce complexity and simplify software systems.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack Engineer, or equivalent role with a strong foundation in frontend development.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) or TypeScript, ReactJS, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proficiency in modern Python and experience with at least one web framework (FastAPI, Django, Flask, Tornado).
• Experience with REST API interaction, design, and testing.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
