Team Insight supports personal finance features that make Rocket Money integral to members’ financial journeys, focusing on tracking spending, analyzing bills and subscriptions, and managing transactions.
The Senior Full Stack Engineer will work alongside a team to implement, iterate, and debug product features that drive the company and user forward.
This role involves owning projects from end to end, making key decisions in implementing new features that balance technical and business concerns.
The engineer will develop with TypeScript across the stack, building user interfaces using React Native and backend support with Node & GraphQL.
The position requires ensuring good user experience by creating performant, understandable, and delightful interfaces.
Participation in code reviews and design discussions is expected to maintain a high technical bar in the software development process.
The engineer will develop an understanding of users to build and measure features that help them improve their finances.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience with Node/TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Postgres (or similar relational database).
The ideal candidate should be both a student and a teacher, seeking to grow as an engineer and help others grow as well.
A strong interest in understanding the bigger picture of how the software benefits users is essential.
Experience with the specific stack (TypeScript, React Native, PostgreSQL) is a plus.
Candidates should understand observability and enjoy solving performance and user experience issues.
The ability to thrive in a growing organization and confront challenging problems head-on is required.

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $185,000/year plus bonus and benefits, with base pay varying based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
