The role involves designing, improving, and debugging complex, scalable distributed systems, optimizing performance, and keeping the tech stack updated.
Responsibilities include writing extensible, scalable, and test-driven code, participating in technical planning, collaborating on web architecture, and mentoring junior engineers.
StackAdapt is a Remote First company, open to candidates located anywhere in Canada willing to work in EST.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 5+ years of full-time work experience building highly performant web applications with outstanding UX.
Strong proficiency in React with recent, hands-on experience in building modern web applications is required.
Familiarity with full-stack technologies such as Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Go is a significant plus.
Proven ability to work across the stack, even if frontend is the candidate's strength, is essential.
Experience collaborating closely with Product & Design teams to design and implement high-impact end-to-end product experiences is necessary.
Candidates should have experience working with relational databases and key-value stores.
Experience in analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing web application page load performance across the entire stack is required.
