Description:

  • The Senior Full Stack Engineer (Growth) position at Honor involves taking a leadership role in defining the next generation of care operations systems used by caregiving business owners and employees worldwide.
  • The role requires refining market-leading SaaS, inventing recommendation systems, and collaborating with data science and data analytics to enhance operations and quality care.
  • The position is part of the Growth Technology team responsible for building and supporting systems for small businesses in the caregiving sector.
  • Responsibilities include delivering new systems and functionality to drive operations workflow with recommendations, prioritization, and automation.
  • The tech stack includes Python, Thrift, MySQL, AWS, JavaScript, Looker, GitHub, and DataDog.
  • The role involves executing short and long-term architecture goals, modernizing systems, and building robust and scalable solutions as Honor's Care Platform grows rapidly.

Requirements:

  • Thriving in a diverse, cross-functional team and collaborating with colleagues throughout the company.
  • Enjoying building clean interfaces and connecting them to backend services.
  • Experience in building and maintaining production-grade features in Python or transferable experience in languages like Node.js.
  • Designing relational database models and using relational databases at scale.
  • Contributing to the design and implementation of large, complex projects.
  • Comfortable working with legacy, monolithic code and refactoring it.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience in building distributed systems and cloud services like AWS and GCP.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation with the tier 1 support team.
