Description:
The Senior Full Stack Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining foundational services and capabilities that support engineering teams and drive product success.
This position requires leveraging deep technical expertise and leadership skills to influence platform architecture, guide engineering practices, and ensure the resiliency, scalability, and performance of the platform.
The role involves collaborating within the team to build new features in the Identity & Access Management domain and contributing to platform scaling initiatives.
The engineer will meet regularly with Product and Design teams to collaborate on requirements and overall roadmap, attend agile ceremonies, and work across squads to improve engineering practices.
Responsibilities include reviewing implementation plans and pull requests, mentoring and coaching team members, and building tooling and automation to enhance the delivery process.
The position requires experience with various technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Go, Node, TypeScript, Rails, React, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of Software Development experience at a SaaS or technology company.
A deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud computing is required.
Experience performing a major architectural refactor is necessary, with a bonus for those who have refactored a monolithic application into microservices.
Applicants should have experience building, operating, and maintaining high-traffic, high-availability platforms and systems.
A solid understanding of secure IAM solutions, including Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, Role-Based Access Control, and Privileged Access Management is essential.
Experience with identity federation solutions (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) is required.
Proficiency in Node, Rails, or a comparable web-app development framework is necessary.
Candidates must demonstrate a drive to craft clean, reliable, and maintainable code.
Availability for participation in on-call rotation is required to ensure prompt responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours.

The expected annual base salary for this role varies by location, with Tier 1 salaries ranging from $178,560 to $267,840, Tier 2 salaries from $163,680 to $245,520, and Tier 3 salaries from $148,800 to $223,200.
