Truelogic is a leading provider of nearshore staff augmentation services headquartered in New York, delivering technology solutions for over two decades.
The company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java + React) to join a U.S.-based life insurance company's Acquisition Team.
The role involves developing and enhancing insurance application workflows, customer-facing components, and third-party data integrations.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining full-stack solutions using Java (Spring Boot) and React.js, creating automated build and deployment pipelines, writing automated unit tests, and participating in code reviews.
The engineer will translate business requirements into scalable tech solutions, troubleshoot and optimize existing components, and collaborate with QA, product, and marketing teams.
Participation in Agile ceremonies and out-of-hours support as needed is also required.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 6+ years of experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, REST, SOAP, and Microservices.
Strong experience with React.js, Redux (or similar), JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is necessary.
Familiarity with build tools such as Babel, Webpack, and NPM is expected.
Experience with containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes is required.
Strong database knowledge, particularly with SQL and relational databases, is essential.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven is needed.
Experience working in Agile teams is a must.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and planning skills are required.
Bonus qualifications include experience with Tomcat, Hibernate, JQuery, Jest, and Mockito.
