Remote Senior Full Stack Engineer, Marketplace

Description:

• The Senior Full Stack Engineer will be part of the Marketplace Apps team at dbt Labs, focusing on the dbt for Snowflake native application and integrating dbt Cloud with cloud data warehouse partners.
• Responsibilities include developing full-stack solutions for marketplace applications, enhancing unique app functionality like the AI chatbot Ask dbt, contributing to technical standards and release tooling, and collaborating with product management and UX for feature design.
• The role involves working with a fully-remote team, demonstrating ownership and drive to solve complex problems, and having at least 5 years of experience in building containerized web applications using languages like Python, Java, Javascript, or Go.

Requirements:

• Must have experience working remotely in a distributed team.
• Should possess a sense of ownership and drive to tackle ambiguous problems.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience in building containerized web applications using Python, Java, Javascript, or Go.
• Preferred experience with Cloud Data Warehouse platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
• Preferred experience in building web frontends using React and TypeScript.
