Remote Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Node/React/TypeScript)

Description:

• Deel is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer proficient in Node.js, React, and TypeScript to join their global team dedicated to facilitating worldwide hiring for businesses.
• The successful candidate will work independently with a Tech Lead on tasks end-to-end, owning the development of features on the client, server, service, and database.
• Responsibilities include participating in product planning from discovery to deployment, collaborating with team members, ensuring a white-glove experience for customers, and staying updated with emerging web development trends.
• The role involves developing high-quality, responsive web applications, designing and implementing server-side APIs and business logic, creating client-side React components, optimizing database interactions, and building reusable components for code reusability and scalability.
• The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of Software Engineering experience, expertise in TypeScript development, and a focus on delivering high-value outcomes for clients.
• Extra brownie points are awarded for experience with Nest.js, understanding of back-end and micro-frontends architecture, and knowledge of AWS containerization technologies.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on TypeScript development.
• Proficiency in Node.js, React, TypeScript, Express, and Postgres.
• Strong experience with high-load optimizations, migrations/refactoring, and designing server-side APIs.
• Ability to create client-side React components, optimize database interactions, and build reusable components for code reusability and scalability.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate in a remote-first work culture, and passion for solving customer problems with coding skills.
