Gauntlet Network is seeking a Backend-leaning Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Aera team, focusing on building next-generation on-chain treasury management solutions.
The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining software for the Aera platform, as well as diagnosing and resolving software defects to ensure optimal system performance.
Candidates should have a genuine passion for crypto, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work autonomously through technical backlogs.
A strong focus on product and user experience is essential, including engaging with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback.
Understanding the broader context of code decisions is important for success in this lean engineering team.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in software development.
Proficiency in Python is required, although candidates open to using other languages like Go are also considered if they are willing to work in Python full-time.
A solid understanding of blockchain and DeFi protocols, concepts, and best practices is necessary.
A product mindset and experience in developing and shipping user-facing features are essential.
Bonus skills include experience with financial products (crypto or otherwise), experience with Solidity, familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration, and knowledge of CI/CD tools like CircleCI and GitHub Actions.

The compensation for this position ranges from $150k to $200k, with a large performance bonus that can add an additional $33k to $165k.
A generous equity package is also included as part of the compensation.
This is a remote position, available only to candidates located in North America or Canada.
The role is full-time, providing stability and commitment to the team and projects.
