Description:
Softrams, LLC is seeking a full-time Full Stack (Java) developer to join a collaborative team focused on building modern and usable applications for mission-critical U.S. federal government enterprise IT solutions.
This position is eligible for 100% remote work, with all work performed in the United States during standard east coast working hours of 9am ET to 5pm ET.
The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.
Candidates must have resided in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required.
A minimum of 3 years of Agile cloud development experience is necessary.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in building scalable and resilient applications using the Java/J2EE framework, particularly with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and UI frameworks like React or Angular (v15+) is required.
Strong knowledge of RDBMS, specifically Oracle and PostgreSQL, is essential.
Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, is required.
Familiarity with build tools like Maven and Gradle is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with CI/CD practices and tools, particularly Jenkins.
Proficiency in development and maintenance using GitHub is required.
Experience with unit testing and code coverage frameworks, such as SonarQube, is necessary.
Candidates should have experience working in agile environments using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.
Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem (S3, EKS, RDS, Lambda) and related tools and technologies is required.
Knowledge of incident resolution frameworks and cloud monitoring for root cause analysis, such as Splunk, is preferred.
