Remote Senior Full Stack JavaScript Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Full Stack JavaScript Engineer position at Vermont Information Processing involves working with Backbar software products to create user-friendly applications across the entire software stack.
• Responsibilities include working on architecture, front and back-end web development, mobile apps, and data warehouses.
• The role also involves developing new APIs, working with high volume ETL systems, data warehouses, and predictive forecasting.
• The engineer will be responsible for building robust, secure, scalable, and tested features from end to end and providing guidance for code reviews and improving code quality.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong working knowledge of vanilla JavaScript and NodeJS is required, along with experience in React, React Native, and/or Vue.
• Solid understanding of programming fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and paradigms is necessary.
• Experience in a test-driven environment, including writing unit tests, is essential.
• Proficiency in relational database technologies, particularly SQL, is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
