Remote Senior Full Stack LLM Engineer

• Responsibilities include architecting and developing data-centric and GenAI-focused applications, ensuring best practices with MLOps or LLMOps, and creating high-performance data processing pipelines and data lakes.
• The engineer will manage client expectations and project timelines, communicate tradeoffs and risks, and stay updated with the latest AI trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Strong experience as a software engineer working across different industries is required.
• Familiarity with one or more major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) and commonly used data-specific services such as BigQuery and SageMaker is necessary.
• Strong experience with LLM services (OpenAI, Claude) and deploying and managing open-source options like Llama-based models is essential.
• Proven experience in building AI-powered experiences in areas such as information extraction, chatbots, document construction, data normalization, and search is required.
• Experience in structured prompt engineering with defined experiments is necessary.
• Experience in fine-tuning LLMs with open-source models or closed-source services is required.
• Experience in creating testing infrastructure around LLM applications is essential.
• Experience working in consulting or contracting contexts is necessary.
• Bonus experience includes working with GenAI contexts in image and video generation, Kubernetes, ETL workflows (e.g., Airflow), a strong statistics and data science background, and relevant industry certifications or publications.
