Remote Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

• Ditto is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

• The engineer will work across the entire technology stack, focusing on either Rust or Golang for backend development and React for the frontend.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, brainstorming solutions, and delivering exceptional user experiences.
• The engineer will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Writing clean, well-documented, and testable code is essential.
• Participation in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to other engineers is expected.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices is crucial.
• Mentoring junior engineers and sharing expertise is part of the role.
• Troubleshooting and debugging production issues will be required.
• The engineer will contribute to the improvement of development processes and tools.
• The position includes being Tier 2 on-call for services owned by the team.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in either Rust or Golang is required, with experience building backend HTTP-based SaaS products.
• Experience with React and TypeScript is necessary.
• A solid understanding of relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, is essential.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
• A passion for building high-quality software and solving challenging problems is important.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Experience writing GraphQL APIs is necessary.
