Description:

Mosey is a company focused on simplifying employment compliance for fast-growing businesses, allowing them to hire and operate in various locations without facing administrative challenges.
The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will be responsible for building tools and automation to assist users in managing employment compliance effectively.
The role involves integrating APIs, building data pipelines, creating API endpoints, and designing UI/UX solutions to address compliance issues.
The engineer will collaborate closely with the founder and founding team to develop prototypes and MVPs, as well as set up initial infrastructure and continuous integration workflows.
The position requires someone with at least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience, strong collaboration skills, and a deep understanding of product development.
Ideal candidates should have expertise in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript, along with familiarity with React, FastAPI, and Postgres.
The compensation for this role ranges from $150,000 to $195,000, in addition to equity.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a software engineer.
Strong collaboration skills and excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Technical proficiency combined with a deep understanding of product development.
Ability to solve complex problems and think critically about solutions.
Experience working at a startup or leading new projects from inception.
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript, and familiarity with React, FastAPI, and Postgres.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and contribute beyond engineering.
Demonstrated urgency, focus, and commitment to high-quality standards.
