Remote Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Description:

• Odeko is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to create valuable experiences for users.
• The role involves working across all levels of the tech stack to innovate and improve small businesses and their supply chains.
• Full stack engineers will build, optimize, and scale products and services for cafe owners, vendors, and coffee drinkers with a focus on results over process.
• Responsibilities include prototyping new ideas, iterating towards the best customer experience, and interacting with stakeholders such as Product, Design, Marketing, and Operations.
• The tech stack includes Ruby/Rails, React Native/Web (Typescript/JavaScript), Federated GraphQL, and Kafka, all on Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS in a microservices architecture.
• Daily tasks involve building and supporting mission-critical production applications, managing the full product lifecycle, designing and implementing full-stack development, collaborating on solutions, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• This is an L3 role with a compensation range of $130,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience in full-stack development and be comfortable working independently.
• A strong technical competency is required, along with the ability to drive projects from start to finish.
• Candidates should be curious, energized by building, and attuned to stakeholders’ needs.
• Experience with the tech stack mentioned (Ruby/Rails, React Native/Web, Federated GraphQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS) is essential; knowledge of Netsuite & Vue is a plus.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to research and learn new technologies is necessary.
