Description:

Engineer Up is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with approximately 5 to 7 years of experience.
The position is fully remote, but applicants must be based in Mexico City and possess superior English speaking skills.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full stack applications.
Frontend experience must include React, while backend experience should include Java, Python, .NET, or other languages.
Responsibilities include participating in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and system design.
The engineer will collaborate with leadership and senior team members to conceptualize new features.
Applications must be optimized for maximum speed and scalability, adhering to security and data protection standards.
Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends is essential.

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Java (or another backend language), Spring/Spring Boot, MySQL, and JavaScript/React is required.
Experience with React is mandatory, and familiarity with Next.js is highly recommended.
Knowledge of SQL databases, specifically MySQL, and the ability to craft stored procedures is necessary.
Experience with cloud services such as AWS is required.
A proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, is essential.
Experience with continuous integration is necessary.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack development is necessary.
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to build complex web applications and possess strong organizational and project management skills.
Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, is required.
Knowledge of DevOps and automated testing is a plus.
