Odeko is on a mission to support neighborhood cafes and coffee shops through technology.
The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will create experiences that deliver value to users.
Full stack engineers work across all levels of the tech stack, innovating and improving small businesses and their supply chains.
Engineers will build, optimize, and scale products and services for cafe owners, vendors, and coffee drinkers with a focus on results over process.
Responsibilities include prototyping new ideas, interacting with stakeholders, and serving as a technical resource and mentor for other developers.
The tech stack includes Ruby/Rails, React Native/Web (Typescript/JavaScript), Federated GraphQL, and Kafka, all on Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS in a microservices architecture.
Daily tasks involve building and supporting mission-critical production applications, managing the full product lifecycle, designing and implementing full-stack development, collaborating on solutions, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
This is an L3 role with compensation between $130,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience in full-stack development and be comfortable working independently.
A strong technical competency in the specified tech stack is required, including Ruby/Rails, React Native/Web, and familiarity with microservices architecture.
Candidates should have a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to architect systems for scalability and maintainability.
Experience in mentoring other developers is preferred.
A passion for building and innovating in a fast-paced environment is essential.
