Description:
Cerbo is a high-growth healthcare SaaS company focused on supporting holistic lifestyles and personalized medicine through its cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) and patient portal software system.
The company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team, responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that meet client needs, with ownership of the full stack.
The role involves building a back-end platform with some front-end development, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering practical solutions and excellent user experiences.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing software solutions, providing technical guidance to junior developers, reviewing code, collaborating with product managers and designers, staying updated with new technologies, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, and communicating with stakeholders.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and DevOps is necessary.
The candidate must have expert-level proficiency in PHP and be able to write efficient, clean, maintainable, and testable code that follows best practices.
Proficiency in database design and experience optimizing database schemas is required.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend systems is essential.
Proficiency in Laravel and experience building web applications using the framework, including designing and developing APIs and creating database schemas, is necessary.
Experience with tools such as Git, Docker, and Kubernetes is required.
Familiarity with one or more cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their services and APIs is necessary.
The candidate must be able to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with team members.
As a senior engineer, the candidate should be able to mentor and coach junior team members and provide technical guidance.
A passion for continuous learning and improvement, along with the ability to keep up with the latest technologies and trends, is required.
