Description:

Orum is an AI-driven, live conversation platform that enhances sales efficiency and lowers customer acquisition costs for companies of all sizes.
The company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to work primarily on backend development (70% backend, 30% frontend).
The role involves taking ownership of critical product features from inception to deployment, creating impactful user experiences in collaboration with Product Managers and Designers.
The engineering team is remote-first and currently in a hyper-growth phase, processing over 1 million calls per day.
The technology stack includes NodeJS with Typescript, React, Postgres, Google Cloud Platform, and FreeSWITCH.
Candidates must be based in the United States, as the position is not open to other countries.
The base salary range for this position is $165,000 - $190,000, depending on experience.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience owning a product or feature through its lifecycle, from discovery to deployment.
A minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience is required.
At least 3 years of experience building backend applications with Javascript/Typescript is necessary.
Experience working with an RDBMS using SQL is required.
Familiarity with Unix shell scripting is essential.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience in measuring and tuning performance of NodeJS applications, building front ends with React, and cloud infrastructure programming (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
Experience in building CI/CD pipelines is also a nice to have.
