Description:

Orum is an AI-driven, live conversation platform that enhances sales efficiency and lowers customer acquisition costs for companies of all sizes.
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will focus primarily on backend development (70% backend, 30% frontend) and take ownership of critical product features from inception to deployment.
You will collaborate with Product Managers and Product Designers to create seamless user experiences and contribute to shaping the product roadmap.
The role involves developing solutions for real-time, high-volume processes, such as call routing and audio stream processing.
You will support team growth by sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative environment while defining technical standards for a clean and scalable codebase.
The current technology stack includes NodeJS with Typescript, React, Postgres, Google Cloud Platform, and FreeSWITCH.
Candidates must be based in the United States, as this position is not open to other countries.
The base salary range for this position is $165,000 - $190,000, depending on experience.

Requirements:

You must have experience owning a product or feature through its entire lifecycle, from discovery to deployment.
A minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience is required.
You should have at least 3 years of experience building backend applications using Javascript/Typescript.
Experience working with an RDBMS and proficiency in SQL is necessary.
Familiarity with Unix shell scripting is required.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience in measuring and tuning the performance of NodeJS applications is a plus.
Experience in building front ends with React and cloud infrastructure programming (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is desirable.
Familiarity with building CI/CD pipelines is also a nice-to-have.
