Remote Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Description:

• Clearstory is seeking a senior software developer in the Philippines to help build a world-class engineering team.
• Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering, you will build out a new software category within the commercial construction industry.
• Expectations include delivering valuable software, ensuring a high-quality experience, improving the product, creating and maintaining technical documentation, and leaving code better than you found it.
• Projects include building new integrations, removing the need for error-prone data entry, creating collaboration features, and refactoring an existing code base.
• The position requires at least 6 hours of overlap with the US/Pacific time zone (12 AM - 8 AM Philippines time).

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software development experience, preferably in a startup environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Node or Golang.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience writing front ends with React 16 or above.
• Proven track record delivering tuned SQL queries and optimized data store use.
• Experience breaking down complex problems and working out clever solutions in a team.
