Poe is a platform that provides users with access to various AI language models, enabling them to chat, explore, and build.
The Core Product team is responsible for Poe’s core messaging and bot discovery experiences, focusing on building features that enhance user interaction with generative AI.
The role involves planning, developing, and polishing new features that improve user experiences and take shared ownership of the product development cycle.
Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading projects, iterating quickly on implementations, advocating for user experience, and mentoring new hires.

Requirements:

Candidates must be available for meetings during Quora's coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time).
A minimum of 5 years of full-time professional full-stack experience in building user-facing consumer web products is required.
At least 3 years of professional experience with React, Typescript, and GraphQL is necessary.
Candidates should have 3 years of experience in Python or a similar programming language.
Professional experience with backend storage systems such as MySQL, MyRocks, Memcached, or Redis is required.
A passion for Poe and Quora’s products and mission is preferred.

For US candidates, the salary range is $147,200 - $232,750 USD plus equity and benefits.
For Canada candidates, the salary range is $151,345 - $239,304 CAD plus equity and benefits.
