Remote Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Description:

• Clearstory is a company that is digitizing and automating the change order process within the commercial construction industry.
• They are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with experience in JavaScript (react.js, node.js, and Golang) to join their engineering team.
• Responsibilities include working closely with the Product Development team to define, create, and maintain features in the Clearstory platform, writing and maintaining unit tests, sharing knowledge with team members, and identifying areas for improvement.
• The team is currently working on projects such as building new integrations, leveraging industry codes for cost data, creating collaboration features for large construction projects, and scaling an existing code base.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with TypeScript and web frameworks (Express, React with Material UI, React Native).
• 5+ years of experience with SQL databases (MySQL, Postgres).
• 5+ years of experience with RESTful APIs.
• Extensive experience in conducting peer code reviews and writing test cases for code.
• Experience with cloud hosting (GCP, AWS), Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Nice to have skills include Go experience, programmatic PDF document authoring/conversion/merging, Conjur, GetStream.io implementation, familiarity with BigQuery, Pub/sub systems, Snowplow, event tracking systems, SDLC concepts, FinTech or ConTech experience, and previous experience in the commercial construction industry.
