Cognigy is seeking a Senior Full-stack Software Engineer to join their global team in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The successful candidate will work in the engineering department, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver continuous improvements, features, and new products.
Responsibilities include developing and delivering software solutions efficiently, creating high-quality code with a well-structured design, overseeing the user interface, and ensuring operational excellence through monitoring and testing.
The role also involves mentoring other developers and providing guidance.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have several years of experience in full-stack software development.
Proficiency in working with containers, debugging containerized applications, and operating in a Linux-based environment is required.
Experience in building front-end applications using technologies like React.JS, Vue.JS, CSS in JS, and state management libraries such as Redux is essential.
Familiarity with back-end frameworks like Node.JS or Ruby on Rails, as well as databases like MongoDB or SQL, is necessary.
Knowledge of Realtime communication protocols like WebSocket or WebRTC and writing well-tested, high-quality code is expected.
Strong communication skills, openness to learning new programming languages, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are important for this role.
