Atrato is a fintech startup focused on providing financial tools for businesses and end consumers in Latin America.
The company has two main products: Atrato Pago, which allows affiliated merchants to offer products and services in monthly or biweekly payments for up to 24 months, and Atrato Cash, a personal credit that customers can access after repaying part of their first loan.
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will lead, design, develop, and maintain software solutions that meet user needs.
You will collaborate closely with the Product Team to understand requirements and design scalable solutions.
Responsibilities include designing and developing web applications and features, building and maintaining RESTful APIs using Node.js with TypeScript, and developing back-end systems using MySQL databases.
You will work with UX designers to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces and implement features used by thousands of users and operation teams.
The role also involves implementing automated testing to ensure quality and scalability and improving technical implementations and best practices within the team.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in Full Stack Software development.
Proven experience leading high-impact projects and teams is necessary.
Strong experience with web application stacks such as MySQL, Express, React, and Node.js is required.
Experience with front-end development frameworks, especially React with TypeScript, is essential.
Candidates must have experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs using Node.js with TypeScript.
A strong understanding of database technologies and ORMs such as MySQL and TypeORM is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is essential.
