Description:

  • The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer position at Union involves working on AI infrastructure challenges, specifically focusing on high-velocity iteration and seamless production-readiness for AI workloads at scale.
  • The role includes leading the development of Machine Learning (ML) tooling, contributing to feature development, and enhancing usability.
  • Responsibilities also involve making strategic decisions on architecture, technologies, and processes, crafting robust APIs, and ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • The position requires acting as a technical liaison across teams, participating in code and design reviews, and addressing urgent needs within the team.
  • Additionally, the role involves leading and developing other team members, serving as a mentor, and fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • The ideal candidate should have 6-8+ years of experience in full-stack development, with proficiency in technologies like React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Go, or Java.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship role, guiding technical decisions, and nurturing a culture of excellence within development teams is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of ML concepts and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark) is highly valued.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate within a dynamic team environment, are essential.
