Remote Senior Full Stack Software Engineer I

Description:

• The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will work on the Capdesk from Carta platform, contributing to building new features and improving existing code.
• The role involves collaborating with a team of highly driven individuals to win UK and EU mid-market customers.
• The position is Full Stack with a slight inclination towards backend development, working mostly on the backend but occasionally dipping into frontend tasks.
• The engineer will collaborate with product designers and managers regularly.
• The team values autonomy, impactful contributions, and continuous improvement of code quality.
• The role is fully remote and open to applicants from the UK, Denmark, Canada, and Brazil.
• The tech stack includes Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis for backend, React/TypeScript for frontend, Figma for wireframes, Storybook for design system, and Heroku for infrastructure.
• Tools used include Datadog, Github, Sentry, LaunchDarkly.

Requirements:

• Experience delivering value through important features in production.
• Autonomy in problem-solving and a curiosity for fintech.
• Ability to iteratively ship code improvements and take ownership of the final product.
• Strong problem-solving skills to provide a rich user experience in a scalable manner.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, React/TypeScript, Figma, Storybook, and Heroku.
• Strong sense of ownership, code quality, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with product designers and managers.
