Dandy is transforming the dental industry, which is worth over $200B, by simplifying and modernizing dental practices through technology.
The company is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their global, remote CAD and 3D team.
The role involves supporting Dandy’s web-based 3D toolset across the internal supply chain.
Responsibilities include developing a suite of 3D design tools that enhance the quality and efficiency of patient-matched restorations.
The engineer will orchestrate the availability of 3D tools based on supply chain event triggers and coordinate the submission and storage of CAD outputs to the cloud.
The position requires supporting and developing internal APIs, endpoints, and microservices, as well as providing data insights to improve capacity and throughput.
The engineer will build integrations with third-party APIs and collaborate with Product Management and Manufacturing Operations engineering teams.
The role involves solving technical problems, maintaining code quality standards, and advocating for product improvements.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in backend development using TypeScript or Node.js.
A strong understanding of business functions and the ability to address challenges through engineering solutions is required.
Effective communication skills are necessary to discuss complex technical problems and propose solutions.
Experience in owning projects from concept to production, including proposal, execution, and maintenance, is essential.
Candidates should be self-motivated, self-managing, and possess excellent organizational skills.
The ability to thrive in a remote-first organization is important.
High proficiency with backend systems such as Nest, Next, Node, and GraphQL is required.
