Quora is a remote-first company, and this Senior Full Stack Software Engineer position can be performed remotely from multiple countries.
Quora's mission is to grow and share the world's knowledge through its platforms: Quora, a global knowledge sharing platform, and Poe, a platform for users to chat, explore, and build with AI language models.
The Senior Software Engineer will work on Poe, focusing on improving the bot ecosystem and supporting bot creators.
Responsibilities include collaborating with various teams, designing and maintaining external developer APIs, working with LLM providers, and championing user experience and scalable code practices.

Requirements:

Must be available during Quora's "coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time).
5+ years of experience with large-scale codebases and web applications, 3+ years with React, Typescript, and GraphQL, and 3+ years with Python or similar language.
Passion for learning, strong communication skills, and interpersonal skills are required.
Preferred qualifications include a passion for Poe and Quora's products, API design, developer ecosystem, and code quality.
