Splashdot is Canada’s leading provider of digital contests, customer engagement, and loyalty environments for the lottery and gaming industry.
The nCentive platform is used across Canada to host digital engagement solutions for various lottery jurisdictions.
The company is headquartered in Vancouver, BC, and employs a distributed workforce, promoting a remote-first work environment.
The Senior Full-Stack Developer will join the Product Development Team and work on a variety of applications, primarily web apps and APIs.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing improvements to Splashdot’s core proprietary platform, identifying and fixing performance and functional issues, engaging in peer code review and testing, researching new technologies, and liaising with technical staff from clients, partners, and vendors.
This is a full-time remote work position, but candidates must reside and be eligible to work within Canada.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience with C# web development, including .NET Core and ASP.NET legacy applications (3.5 and 4.7).
A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL is required, with a strong comfort level in working directly with T-SQL without reliance on Entity Framework or other ORMs.
Applicants should have 5+ years of professional experience with core front-end web skills, including HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Experience with client-side frameworks such as React or Vue, as well as jQuery, is a plus.
Proven experience in developing enterprise-level web applications is necessary, and experience with Microsoft Azure and containerization is a plus.
Candidates must understand web application security best practices, including preparing for and interpreting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
Superlative organizational and time-management skills are required, including the ability to independently manage deadlines.
Excellent written and spoken English is essential.
