Remote Senior Fullstack Developer, EHR & API

Description:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve feature development on Fullscript
• Responsible for designing and developing RESTful APIs to provide access to Fullscript’s core services and data
• Create detailed API documentation to enable third-party developers to easily integrate with the platform
• Build scalable backend applications to support the growing needs of the business
• Review pull requests, mentor, and advocate for high-quality code to facilitate future development
• Take full ownership and responsibility for building, shipping, testing, deploying, and maintaining features
• Scope and plan projects, collaborating with other developers to implement them
• Provide input on high-level architecture decisions and communicate those decisions
• Perform other duties assigned by the company as needed

Requirements:

• Passionate software engineer with a focus on producing high-quality work
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating with third-parties
• Proficiency in Ruby or Ruby on Rails
• Familiarity with Javascript or JS frameworks (React, Vue, AngularJS, Next, or similar)
• Understanding of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and CSS preprocessors
• Ability to write tests and recognize their importance
• Willingness to learn and open to feedback
• Knowledge of design patterns and clean code principles
