Description:

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will collaborate closely with teams across the business, particularly Engineering Leads and the Founding Engineer.
This role demands a product-focused, forward-thinking approach, as you will play a key role in driving the development of the company’s newest product.
You will be responsible for backend development in Python and frontend development using Vue2, Vue3, and potentially React.
You will collaborate with engineers and product managers on schema design and API design.
Your responsibilities include building simple, secure, stable, and performant RESTful APIs in Python, with suitable unit, integration, and end-to-end test coverage.
You will implement fast and beautiful front-end data visualization components in Vue.
You will build APIs and frontends that can be internationalized and retrofit existing products to make them ready for internationalization.
Incorporating frontend and backend monitoring and observability into your development workflow will be part of your duties.
You will benchmark the performance of frontend and backend code, ensuring it is ready to scale with a growing user base.
You are expected to bring ideas to the table and suggest additional tools or workflows to improve processes.

Requirements:

You must have at least 5 years of hands-on development experience.
Strong skills with ORMs (e.g., SQLAlchemy) and Python web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django) are required.
You should have strong experience with Vue3, and prior experience incrementally migrating Vue2 frontends to Vue3 will be highly regarded. Experience in React and JavaScript can also be considered.
Experience with relational databases and SQL is necessary.
Excellent communication skills in English are essential, with the ability to clearly understand requirements and effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a proactive approach to learning are required.
You must be assertive with the ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment.
